Stroke-Release Manual Presses – for more Safety
At SCHMIDT Technology, safety is traditionally a top priority, even on a small scale. The familiar options for process safety are supplemented by safety against injuries.
Monotonous, manually operated press applications can potentially become a source of danger with serious injuries.
The remedy is to equip our manual presses with clever mechanics. This turns them into safety devices with 2-hand operation for ram movement.
How to use
The stroke release is achieved by disengaging the locking mechanism with one hand; now the 2nd hand can operate the hand lever.
Alternatively, the locking mechanism can be unlocked by a button.
Features and Benefits
- locking function over the entire ram stroke
- optional, stroke release via external button
- self-retaining locking position (spring loaded)
- low-manipulation locking button
