SIAMS 2026 Trade Fair in Moutier: A Resounding Success

The SIAMS industrial trade fair in Moutier (Switzerland) ran until April 24, 2026. Once again this year, SCHMIDT Technology presented interesting new press solutions at SIAMS.

Among other highlights, visitors had the opportunity to discover the new SCHMIDT^® ServoPress 602. Our successful ServoPress series has been expanded with the addition of this extremely precise and accurate ServoPress 602 model. With a maximum force of 300 N and remarkable accuracy, this press offers an ideal solution for applications in precision mechanics, micro-technology, the watchmaking industry, and medical technology – or indeed wherever precision is the top priority.

We were also able to introduce new innovations regarding our manual lever presses. Our “Stroke Release” option for manual lever presses enables press operations to be performed safely and without risk. Thanks to a locking mechanism, the stroke movement is only released when a push-button is actuated with the free hand. This prevents hands or fingers from being pinched – even on our standard manual lever presses.

Furthermore, the new SCHMIDT^® PressControl 700/7000 generation of control systems – featuring the latest user interface – was unveiled for our SCHMIDT^® presses. This clear and well-arranged control unit offers intuitive operation and helpful process monitoring, making every pressing operation even more transparent and straightforward.
