SCHMIDT® PartProtector Quick Coupler and Force Limiter Easy, straightforward tool changes and component protection through mechanical overload protection. Quick Coupler The Quick Coupler for tools consists of two parts: a rigid adapter and a base holder for mounting in the ram. The Quick Coupler is attached to the base holder without any additional tools. A cylindrical pin helps to position and guide the quick coupler. Technical Data Mounting bore: Ø 10 H7 Maximum pressing force: 50 kN   Force Limiter The force limiter, in conjunction with the base holder, allows the pressing force to be limited and the spring stroke to be determined by combining disc springs. As an overload protection feature within this spring stroke, the workpieces are only subjected to the defined spring force. This application is particularly suitable for toggle presses, whose force output at bottom dead center can vary depending on the workpiece tolerances.
